Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812871
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic electrophotographic photoreceptor that causes few image defects even when printing is carried out in large quantities.
SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer containing at least a high molecular electric charge transferring material is disposed on an electrically conductive support to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The product ε.σof the tensile breaking elongation ε (%) and tensile breaking strength σ(kgf.mm-2) of the photosensitive layer is ≥0.85 kgf.mm-2. In another embodiment, a photosensitive layer having a structure formed by successively laminating an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer containing a high molecular electric charge transferring material is disposed on an electrically conductive support to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The product ε.σ of the tensile breaking elongation ε (%) and tensile breaking strength σ (kgf.mm-2) of the electric charge transferring layer is ≥0.85 kgf.mm-2.
