PURPOSE: To easily obtain a large amt. of printed matter by recording the information to be printed on a recording medium having a photoconductive layer member and an optical modulating material layer member and forming the corresponding charge image on a photosensitive member provided separately from the recorded recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: Recording means 12 to 17 apply the electromagnetic radiation ray information including the information to be printed on the recording medium RM having the laminated constitution consisting of at least the photoconductive layer member PCL and the optical modulating material layer member PML to record the information to be printed thereon. Electromagnetic radiation flux generating means LS 19, 20 generate the electromagnetic radiation fluxes indicating the intensity change corresponding to the recorded information on the recorded recording medium RM recorded with the information to be printed by irradiation with the electromagnetic radiation fluxes. A charge image forming means 21 exposes the photosensitive member 1 provided separately from the recording medium MR by the electromagnetic radiation fluxes to form the charge image corresponding to the information to be printed of the photosensitive member 1. The large amt. of the printed matter is easily obtd. in this way.
