PURPOSE: To prolong considerably the life of a conductive brush and to perform uniform electrostatic charging by implanting plural kinds of fibers differeing in fiber diameter together mixedly.

CONSTITUTION: The conductive brush 3 consists of conductive fiber formed of large-diameter fiber 3a and small-diameter fiber 3b mixed at a specific ratio and is implanted in the circumference of a roll core 2 to constitute a brush roll 1. The large-diameter fiber 3a improve the wear resistance of the conductive brush 3 and reduces the decrease in hair length even in long-period use. The small-diameter fiber 3b expands an electrostatic charge range per hair to realize uniform electrostatic charging.
