Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which suppresses reduction to fine powder in a machine, is excellent in low temperature fixability and hot-offsetting property in heat roll fixation and is hardly affected by an environmental change as a toner used in an image forming method in which a toner recycling system is adopted.
SOLUTION: A resin binder in the electrostatic charge image developing toner has a sub-peak in the molecular weight range of 50,000-10,000,000 in the molecular weight distribution of its THF-soluble component by gel permeation chromatography(GPC) and the water content of the toner using the resin binder is ≤5,000 ppm when the toner is allowed to stand in an atmosphere of 30°C and 60% RH for 24 hr.
