To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner, developer, and method of forming an image using those so as to obtain excellent fixing property, wide fixing region, little irregularity in the gloss for continuous copying, little difference in the gloss between top and back surfaces for double-face copying and excellent reliability.
The electrostatic charge image developing toner, developer and a method of forming an image have the following features. The toner for thermal fixing contains a binder resin and a coloring agent. The binder resin contains a crosslinking agent consisting of an aliphatic compound. The gloss on the surface of the fixed image of the toner is ≥20%. The maximum change rate ΔGmax of the gloss per 1°C surface temperature difference in a 140 to 170°C temperature range of the surface of the fixing member is ≤2.6%/°C. When A is defined by A=(X×Z/1000)+(Y-44), wherein X is the weight average mol.wt. of the toner, Y°C is the glass transition temperature Tg, and Z% is the proportion of the crosslinking agent in the binder resin, A ranges from 21 to 38.
