Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve and stabilize conductivity of a developer so that a photosensitive body can be stably and efficiently electrified for a long time in an image forming method of back exposure recording system, and to obtain a longer life of the developer.
CONSTITUTION: This developer consists of a conductive magnetic carrier, high- resistance magnetic carrier, and insulating toner. The developer 71 consisting of a conductive magnetic carrier, high-resistance carrier and insulating magnetic toner is supplied to the surface of an a-Si photosensitive body 21 to form a developer reservoir 73. Charges are injected to the surface of the photosensitive body 21 from a developing bias power supply 39 to electrify the photosensitive body. The photosensitive body is exposed from the rear surface by a LED array 41, and simultaneously developed to form a toner image 75.
