Title:
ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3941696
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toners which have excellent environmental stability, flow property and heat resistant storability, do not give rise to sticking of toner components on a photoreceptor even during repetitive use and make it possible to obtain excellent images free of voids in the solid images.
SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing toners are formed by adding and mixing hydrophobic silica particulates of 10 to 30 nm in number average grain size and ≥50 degree of hydrophobing, hydrophobic titania particulates of 30 to 80 nm in number average grain size and ≥50 degree of hydrophobing and titania particulates of 200 to 2,000 nm in number average grain size to and with colored resin particulates containing at least coloring agents and a binder resin, in which the total amount of addition of the hydrophobic silica particulates and the hydrophobic titania particulates is 1 to 3 wt.% of the colored resin particulates and the amount of addition of the titania particulates of 200 to 2,000 nm in the number average grain size is 0.3 to 3 wt.% of the colored resin particulates.
