Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form an electrostatic latent image only by low voltage driving and to attain printing by forming an electrostatic latent image on a dielectric film or a dielectric body by a supporting plate and plural fine piezoelectric transformer groups arranged at least one surface of a supporting plate and then printing out the image.

CONSTITUTION: Many fine piezoelectric transformers are arranged so as to correspond to printing points. Namely, the latent image is formed on the dielectric film or dielectric body by the supporting plate and the plural fine piezoelectric transformer groups and then printed out. For instance, toner 15 is electrostatically adsorbed to a charge residual part on the dielectric film 1 by a toner application roller 8 to form a toner distribution image 9 corresponding to the electrostatic latent image, and while pressing a transfer roller 11 against an electrostatic drum 2 through printing paper 10, the electrostatic drum 2 is rotated in a rotational direction 12 and printing paper 10 is delivered to a carrying direction 13 to transfer the image 9 to the surface of the printing paper 10 and form a transferred image 14. A printing signal is applied from a driving power supply 26 to a part between a common electrode 19 and a low voltage electrode 21 through a switch 27 to be boosted in voltage by piezoelectric body 20 and to generate a high voltage pulse between a high voltage electrode 22 and the common electrode 19.
