Abstract:
To provide a logic for estimating the temperature of a semiconductor element of an inverter cooled in a predetermined cooling system with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: In an element temperature estimation method of estimating the element temperature (Tj) of a semiconductor element of an inverter (30) installed in a cooling system (40) in which the refrigerant flow rate (WF) is adjusted according to the refrigerant temperature (TW), the thermal resistance change (dRth) of the semiconductor element (31) is estimated according to the change in the refrigerant flow rate (WF), and the element temperature (Tj) is estimated on the basis of the estimated thermal resistance change (dRth).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
