Abstract:
To provide an elevator device capable of automatically saving passengers in a car when a sensor that detects a shield plate or a rotary encoder of a hoist fails even without providing a sensor that detects a level difference between a governor encoder or the car and a landing.SOLUTION: The elevator device is provided with: an end floor detector 4 that detects presence of a car 2 at an end floor; a car door closing detection device 10 that detects opening/closing of a car door 11; and a landing door closing detection device 12 that detects opening/closing of a landing door 13. A control device 8 causes the end floor detector 4 to detect the presence of the car 2 at the end floor (S2) when a failure of a sensor 3 that detects a shield plate 1 or a rotary encoder 6 of a hoist 5 is detected (S1), opens the car door 11 by a prescribed distance (S5) when the door closing detection devices 10, 12 detect closing of the doors 11, 13 (S3), and fully opens the doors 11, 13 (S7) when the door closing detection devices 10, 12 detect opening of the doors 11, 13 (S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
