To provide an embroidery data editing device capable of excluding a fine stitch causing thread breakage, or the like, without making the change of finished stitches conspicuous.
If partial embroidery data are used for satin stitches, one of a needle location point P1 and a needle location point P2 making a fine stitch is left as it is, and the other needle location point and a needle location point (not making the fine stitch) adjacent to it are deleted. This process is executed by this same method until the fine stitch is eliminated. In Fig. (b), the stitch P1P4 is not the fine stitch after needle location points P2 and P3 are deleted, the stitch P4P5 is the minimum fine stitch, and needle location points P5 and P6 deleted in the second deletion. Finished stitches having little difference from those in Fig. (a) are attained as shown in Fig. (b).
