Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject sewing machine for enabling embroidery sewing to be re-started from the head of a required unit pattern section after the interruption of the embroidery sewing.
CONSTITUTION: In a ROM, respective embroidery data for pattern sections with embroidery patterns classified color by color are stored in the order of sewing on every pattern section. When a cut-off thread piece is generated under the sewing of the embroidery patterns, then a sewing machine is stopped. At the time of the stopping, a thread piece is put on to be renewed. In this case, when a head exposing key is operated, the pattern sections of all the embroidery patterns are respectively shown (S26, S27), and if the arbitrary pattern section is specified, the head address of the specified pattern section is set (S29). Thereafter, from the pattern section specified in reply to start command, embroidery sewing is re-started.
