An embroidery sewing machine comprises: an embroidery form display means for displaying a form (b) of the embroidery on a display screen 6 on the basis of prescribed embroidery data for executing the embroidery to a prescribed working cloth (a); a working cloth image pickup means composed of a CCD (charge coupled device) camera 7 for picking up the image of the prescribed working cloth (a) set to an embroidery frame 4; a working cloth display means for displaying the picked-up image of the prescribed working cloth (a) on the display screen 6; a moving means for moving the displayed form (b) of the embroidery on the working cloth (a) on the display screen 6 to a prescribed embroidery position of the displayed prescribed working cloth (a); and an embroidery control means for executing the embroidery to the prescribed working cloth (a) on the basis of the moved form of the embroidery.
