Abstract:

To provide an emergency lighting device capable of reliably protecting a light emitting element.

An emergency lighting device 11 has a power supply unit 13 for lighting a light emitting element 12 by an external power source e during non-blackout of the external power source e. The emergency lighting device 11 has a battery B. The emergency lighting device 11 has an emergency lighting circuit 24 for lighting the light emitting element 12 by the battery B during blackout of the external power source e. The emergency lighting device 11 has a relay Ry switched to connect the power supply unit 13 to the light emitting element 12 during non-blackout of the external power source e, and connect the emergency lighting circuit 24 to the light emitting element 12 during blackout of the external power source e. The emergency lighting device 11 has an overcurrent limit circuit 28 for limiting an overcurrent flowing through the light emitting element 12 when connection of the light emitting element 12 is switched from the power supply unit 13 to the emergency lighting circuit 24 by the relay Ry.
