This emergency notification device has: an emergency notification device body 2 portable by a hand; a light emission part 3 incorporated in the emergency notification device body 2, emitting light toward the outside; a sound generation part 5 generating emergency sound; an imaging part 6 imaging a photographic object; a wireless communication means 24 having a communication function to a wireless communication network; a recording means 21 previously recording an emergency message; switches 7 operating the light emission part 3, the sound generation part 5 and the imaging part 6 by pressing operation by a finger of a right hand or a left hand, or a pulling-out operation by the finger without being noticed by the periphery; and a silent operation switch 14 automatically and silently communicating the emergency message recorded in the recording means 21 and/or an imaged image of the photographic object by the imaging part 6 to an external prescribed communication destination via the wireless communication means 24 and the wireless communication network by the finger operation.
