Abstract:
To provide a power supply system in which generation of power can be started quickly.
An alternator 1 and a battery 2 mounted on an automobile A are employed as an emergency power supply. An emergency power supply B comprising a DC/DC converter 11 and an inverter 13 is combined with the automobile A thus generating an AC power of commercial frequency. It is operated when a commercial power supply is interrupted due to occurrence of a disaster, e.g. earthquake, or when an emergency generator is unoperable in order to feed a power higher than a minimum level.
