PURPOSE: To easily form a working space in a liquid tank by using a relatively heavy cylindrical body and seal.
CONSTITUTION: A sealing gasket 2 and a relatively heavy cylindrical body 1 which has a height larger than the depth of liquid in a tank 3 and of which both ends are opened are provided. After the sealing gasket 2 is installed so as to surround the opening perfectly on the base part of the cylindrical body 1, the cylindrical body 1 is sunk at a given position in the tank 3, and the sealing gasket 2 is sealded on the base plate of the tank 3 by the empty weight, and the inside is sealded perfectly from outside, and then, the liquid in the cylindrical body 1 is pumped out by a pump 4. Thus, a given working space is formed easily inside the cylindrical body 1. Further, if handrails 5 are installed inside the cylindrical body 1, the going in and out of workers is facilitated.
