To minimize the quantity of a core substance which was not encapsulated in capsules and to reduce the exudation of the core substance from the capsules in microcapsules having wall membranes of a specified organopolysiloxane by adding a compound to the core substance.
A membrane wall is formed from an organopolysiloxane synthesized by polycondensing one or several compounds selected from the group consisting of compounds given by the formula: RnSi(OH)mY(4-m-n) wherein m is an integer of 1-4; n is an integer of 0-3; m+n≤4; R is an organic group in which a carbon atom is bonded directly to a silicon atom; Y is an alkoxy, hydrogen, or siloxy group, in which m in one compound is 2 or 3 and R of one compound has solvent affinity with one of a continuous phase or a dispersed phase. One compound selected from the group consisting of hydrolyzable silanes and polysiloxanes is added to a core substance.
