PURPOSE: To stabilize the encasement of a remote control box by forming an encasing part for a remote control box with a rearward tilt and by providing a clasping piece at the top of said encasing part in the front frame as a means to prevent the remote control box from falling frontward.

CONSTITUTION: A front frame 12 fitted on an air conditioner 11 is provided with an encasing part 12a and a clasping piece 12b. An inlet grille 13 is fitted over the front frame 12. The encasing part 12a in the front frame 12 is formed with a rearward tilt and the clasping piece 12b is provided at the top of the encasing part as a means of holding a remote control box 14 so that the remote control box 14 can be encased securely in place with the body leaning rearward in the encasing part 12a and with the top held fast by the clasping piece 12b. A frame 12c forming a space for fingers for taking out the remote control box is provided at the lower front part of the encasing part 12a so that the remote control box 14 in secure encasement can be easily taken out.
