Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosure structure for electronic unit that has a side wall using a resin member into which a metallic sheet is inserted, can prevent the breakage, etc., of the resin member caused by bolting, and can reduce the number of parts and the number of assembling steps.
SOLUTION: The horizontal section 7a of the metallic sheet 7 inserted into the resin member is exposed on the upper surface of the flange section 3a of the side wall 3. In addition, a vertical section 7b which is vertically bent toward a base plate 2 from the horizontal section 7a is formed and a bent section 7c is formed at the lower end of the vertical section 7b. At the time of fixing the side wall 3 to the base plate 2 with bolts by using through holes 8 formed to pass through the flange section 3a, the vertical section 7b is fixed so that the section 7b may be inserted into a groove 2a formed into the base section 2. The compressive forces applied when the bolts are tightened are dispersed by means of the horizontal section 7a and, in addition, parts of the compressive forces are supported by the vertical section 7b which is in contact with the base section 2.
