Abstract:

PURPOSE: To bring an endoscope into tight contact with the inside of a body, for example, the uterine neck uniformly in its circumferential direction without deviating the uterine neck by uniformly sucking the uterine neck.
CONSTITUTION: This endoscope insertion assisting means 1 has a circular columnar body 2 and a barrel-shaped outer cylinder 3 which can be screwed to the outer periphery of this body 2. The body 2 has an outer cylinder joining part 4 which is circular columnar and has a large diameter at its center, a partition plate 5 which is formed to a disk shape in front of this outer cylinder joining part 4, an inside cylinder part 6 which has a small diameter and is formed to a pipe shape in front of this partition plate 5, a holding part 7 which is long-sized and is formed to a pipe shape and a suction pipe 8 in parallel with this holding part 7. A suction chamber 1b is formed between the outside cylinder 3 and the inside cylinder 6 and an intra-body side aperture 1a is formed on the front end surface side thereof. The partition plate 5 is formed with plural conduit holes 11 penetrating therethrough in the positions uniform in the circumferential direction thereof. The conduct holes 11 and the suction chamber 1a are communicated each other. A communicating space 20 is formed between the partition plate 5 and a suction port 17 which is the opening of the suction pipe 8.
