To provide an energy use status managing method suitable to energy saving countermeasures for grasping and analyzing energy use statuses for every section of a time zone to be managed which is divided with new sectioning means.
A staff terminal 4 makes by-section time zone setting files 31 every day by minimum groups (installation names) to be managed while communicating with an energy monitoring system 1 via a LAN 2. In the file, a production time zone section is subdivided into sections of morning 1, afternoon 2, before-night 3 and after-night 4 and a non-production time zone section is subdivided into sections of nighttime 10, rise-up 11, lunch time 12, daytime 13, off-night 14, lower-down 15, holiday 16 and failure 17. A starting time and a finishing time are set in each subdivided zone and registered in a database. An electric energy recording region 31-1 corresponding to each subdivision is provided in the by-section time zone setting file 31, where service power is recorded as reported from a power measuring machine in each minimum group by SS wireless, totalized, analyzed and disclosed to each department via the LAN 2.
