Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine automatic stopping/re-starting device that can prevent a vehicle from moving when a failure occurs in a transmission while re-starting an engine that has been stopped by idling stop function.SOLUTION: The engine automatic stopping/re-starting device stops a motor (step 17) based on a condition that a failure is detected from the transmission (step 13) while the engine having been stopped by the idling stop function is started by the motor (step 16).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
