Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the overload by achieving the switching control of a switching circuit by the output of an output suppression circuit to limit the welding output when the welding output becomes overload according to the welding work condition.
CONSTITUTION: When the welding output becomes overload, the engine speed is reduced, and the frequency of the AC power source voltage of a generator for welding is reduced which is directly connected to the engine. When the frequency falls below a specific value, the power source voltage of a generator 2 for welding is dropped by the FV characteristics in an automatic voltage adjusting circuit 14. The voltage is detected by a voltage detecting part, and the detected voltage is transmitted to an output suppressing member 18. When the detected voltage is lower than the preset value in the output suppressing part 18, the output suppression signal is given to a constant current control part 15 so as to suppress the welding output A switching element driving part 16 is controlled thereby, the ON-period of a switching element 5 is shortened according to the voltage drop to suppress the welding output.
