Abstract:

PURPOSE: To avoid smoking of firing plug, in a system where the fuel supply is corrected incrementally under low temperature, by suppressing said correction for predetermined interval from starting of car.

CONSTITUTION: Upon operation of engine, basic fuel injection time is calculated at first in a control circuit 34 on the basis of outputs from an air-flow meter 2 and an engine rotation sensor 32. Then, in accordance to the cooling water temperature to be detected by a cooling water temperature sensor 24, warming increment ratio is read out to decide whether the travel distance has reached to specific level on the basis of the output from a distance meter 18. If the answer is NO, the warming increment ratio is reduced by specific rate thus to prevent smoking of firing plug 20 when transporting a new car while repeating quite short operation several times.
