Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a measuring error of an intake air quantity by limiting a maximum value of throttle opening based on valve timing. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an air flow meter 5 provided on an intake passage 2, a throttle 6 for controlling intake air quantity and a variable mechanism 10 for changing valve timing of at least an intake valve 8 according to an operation state. The device is provided with a means for stipulating throttle limit opening according to valve timing and throttle opening is controlled so as not to exceed the throttle limit opening.
