Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize proper arrangement of a VGT actuator while compacting a turbosupercharger including a VGT and reducing an intake resistance.SOLUTION: A turbosupercharger 3 includes a variable vane mechanism provided in a larger turbine case for changing the flow velocity of exhaust gas flowing into a large turbine. A VGT actuator 39A for driving a nozzle vane of the variable vane mechanism is mounted on the surface of a large compressor case 31C. In the side view of a large turbine shaft 37 from the compressor chamber side, the large turbine shaft 37 is rotated counterclockwise around its axis, and an inter-compressor passage 46 as a passage for discharging intake air from a large compressor chamber is arranged closer to the side of an engine body 10 than the large turbine shaft 37. The VGT actuator 39A is arranged further from the engine side than the large turbine shaft 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
