Abstract:
PURPOSE:To satisfactorily regulate the movement of lubricating oil in an oil pan easily while reducing the number of parts by bending partition plates to be held between a pair of supporting members integrally formed in the oil pan. CONSTITUTION:A pair of supporting members 6, 7 substantially U-shaped in section are integrally formed in an oil pan 1. Partition plates 8, 9 for regulating the movement of lubricating oil in the interior of the oil pan 1 are bent to be held between the supporting members 6, 7. As the partition plates 8, 9 and the oil pan 1 are separately formed, the partition plates 8, 9 can be provided in such a manner as to project over the mating face 1a of the oil pan 1 so as to satisfactorily regulate the movement of lubricating oil. Furthermore, it is not necessary to provide special means for holding the partition plates 8, 9, so that the fitting work can be facilitated and the number of parts can be reduced.
