Abstract:
To provide a system verifying the legitimacy of a digital media file to ensure the legitimacy of digital media.
The system includes an analysis module which analyzes control information associated with the digital media file and computes known hash value uniquely identifying the digital media file, and an verification module which computes verification hash value based on the received and analyzed digital media file and compares the verification hash value with the known hash value to verify the illegitimacy of the received and analyzed digital media file.
