PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment energy utilization type power storage system which enables the power storage capacity of the power storage means to be set high.SOLUTION: An environment energy utilization type power storage system 1 includes: a first power storage part 35 which stores electric power output from a first power generation device 10 or a second power generation device 20; a second power storage part 38 which stores electric power output from the first power storage part 35 and has power storage capacity larger than power storage capacity in the first power storage part 35; and a control part 41 which causes the first power storage part 35 to continue to store electric power when a power storage amount in the first power storage part 35 is smaller than a predetermined amount and causes the first power storage part 35 to output the electric power stored in the first power storage part 35 to the second power storage part 38 when the power storage amount is equal to or larger than a second predetermined amount.
