Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy asphalt concrete composition for pavement improved in bending flexibility and waterproofness while having excellent initial dynamic stability (a DS value).
SOLUTION: This epoxy asphalt concrete composition for pavement composes asphalt containing an aggregate mixture as an asphalt mixture to which a reforming agent is added. The reforming agent is composed of a main agent and a hardener without using malleable oil. The main agent is composed of an epoxy resin. The hardener is materialized with swelling rubber, and the amount required for reaction to the amount of the epoxy resin used for the main agent is swollen with aliphatic monoamine added to vulcanized and crushed rubber of the same quantity or more at a weight ratio.
