Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject copolymer excellent in antistatic property, durability and adhesion and useful for coating type antistatic agent, etc.

CONSTITUTION: This copolymer is obtained by reacting an acrylic amide based copolymer whose structure is linear and whose sequence is arranged irregularly, having 1000-50000 weight-average molecular weight, consisting of (A) 65-99mol% ethylene structural unit of formula I, (B) 0-15mol% acrylate structural unit of formula II (R1 is 1-4C alkyl) and (C) 1-35mol% acrylamide structural unit of formula III (R2 is 2-8C alkylene; R3 and R4 are 1-4C alkyl) with epichlorohydrin.
