Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable safe and high-efficiency discharge of leaked cargo liquid by a system wherein a part of the leaked cargo liquid is evaporated into a gas and then discharged by the pressure of the gas into the discharge system of the leaked cargo liquid in a closed vessel. CONSTITUTION:With an on-off valve 7 opened, a leaked cargo liquid 3 is transferred from a liquid receiving vessel 4 into a closed tank 5. Then, when the on- off valve 7 is closed and a heater 9 is operated, an evaporized portion of the leaked cargo liquid 3 is discharged into a leaked cargo liquid discharge system 8 through a piping 8 by the use of a gas pressure of the leaked cargo liquid 3 that has been partly vaporized into a high-pressure gas. This operation is repeated at an appropriate interval to ensure safe and high-efficiency discharge of the leaked cargo liquid into the leaked cargo liquid discharge system.
