To provide equipment for maintaining posture for self-support which has a function to adjust an angle of a part where the hip of an user, or a person who needs nursing care such as a physically handicapped person, comes into contact depending on the user's situation or his/her choice and prevents the whole body of the user from rolling while he/she uses equipment for maintaining posture.
Equipment for maintaining posture is provided with the following parts: A side board A is formed by folding a rectangular board, which is made of a three-layered, reinforced corrugated fiberboard, into a U section. A bottom board B is made of a rectangular or square, three-layered, reinforced corrugated fiberboard. A fixed board F for adjusting an angle is used to adjust an angle of a part where the user's hip comes on the seat board. A pad E to prevent rolling is formed by folding a rectangular board, which is made of a three- layered, reinforced, corrugated fiberboard, into a V section and is fixed to a position where the user's crotch comes on the seat board. The pad to prevent rolling has a V-section protrusion which prevents the user from rolling on the seat board.
