Abstract:

The goods (P) supplied on the supply conveyor (1) are detected by a position detector unit (2) and then removed by a gripper unit (3) and set down in a predetermined position onto the wrapping material web (50) on which they are supplied to the packing station. The apparatus includes a folding unit (43) for folding the wrapping material up over the article which is placed thereon.
