Abstract:
To provide an erasing method and erasing device capable of efficiently removing the radiation energy accumulated in an stimulable phosphor portion formed on a stimulable sheet while preventing the fogging occurring in UV rays.
This erasing method for the radiation energy accumulated on the stimulable phosphor sheet consists in irradiating the stimulus phosphor portion 1 formed on the stimulable phosphor sheet 2 with white light, then irradiating the same with the light from which at least part of the component of a wavelength below 600 nm is cut.
