PURPOSE: To detect the calling destination if it is an error and to prevent the recalling to the same calling destination by the erroneous dial after the detection.
CONSTITUTION: The dial number inputted from an input means 12 is stored in a destination dial storage means 13 and is automatically called by a calling means 16. When the calling destination is a facsimile equipment, the response signal is detected by a response signal detection means 15 and the facsimile communication is permitted. When the response signal is not detected, the message for making a request for the output of the scheduled tone signal stored in a message storage means 18 on the calling destination is outputted from a sound generation means 14. When a tone signal detection means 17 detects the tone signal outputted from the calling destination in response to the message, it instructs a facsimile function part 10 to prohibit the recalling.
