Abstract:
To provide an estimation device that estimates, for a user, an alternative function for an application being used, and an alternative function estimation method.SOLUTION: An estimation device 1 has an alternative function estimation engine 11 that, as a training stage, trains using first teacher data 110 in which, for each application type, a plurality of alternative functions and whether or not a user himself/herself has made a transition to each of the alternative functions are associated with each other, and as an estimation stage, inputs an application type that is being actually used by the user and estimates an alternative function for the application type. The first teacher data 110 associates an alternative function by which the user himself/herself will stop the application actually being used and whether or not the user himself/herself has suspended use of the application with each other. As the estimation stage, the alternative function estimation engine 11 determines, as an estimation result, an alternative function having the highest estimation score for each of the alternative functions for the application type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
