To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of improving combustion efficiency of particulate matter deposited on a filter without causing excessive temperature rise of the filter.
An exhaust emission control device includes: a filter 32 provided in an exhaust passage 22 of an engine 10 to collect particulate matter contained in exhaust gas; an exhaust throttle valve 26 interposed in the exhaust passage 22 downstream of the filter 32; a concentration acquiring means 25 acquiring an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas that flows into the filter 32; temperature acquiring means 4a, 24a, 24b acquiring the carrier temperature of the filter 32; and a control means 5b controlling an opening of the exhaust throttle valve 26 based on the oxygen concentration acquired by the concentration acquiring means 25 and a carrier temperature acquired by the temperature acquiring means 4a, 24a, 24b when regenerating the filter 32.
