Title:
EXHAUST FINE-PARTICLE COLLECTING FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003278526
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce a cost, to use not less than two kinds of catalysts while suppressing a rise of a pressure loss, and to make full use of the function of plural catalysts.

This exhaust fine-particle collecting filter is provided with a plurality of cells 3 divided by porous lattice walls 2 and arranged in a direction of exhaust gas flow, and clogs each gas inlet side end portion 3in and a gas outlet side end portion 3out of the adjacent cells 3, 3 by alternately changing. An oxidizing reaction portion 5 made by coating an oxidizing catalyst A on a range of at least 15 mm length of the gas inlet side end portion 3in of the cell 3 is provided, and the part except for the oxidizing reaction portion 5 is established as an exhaust fine-particle collecting portion 6.
