Abstract:

To correct an exhaust gas recirculation amount to proper value by a simple configuration even when pressure dispersion is caused in the intake system and exhaust system of an internal combustion engine.

On condition that a diesel engine 11 is in idling state, the respective pressures of an intake pipe 30 can be detected by a pressure sensor 30a installed on the intake pipe 30, when a final duty ratio command value for driving an electric vacuum regulating valve 40a for exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) becomes [0%] and this duty ratio command value becomes a prescribed command value determined for idling previously. The difference in detected pressure becomes a value correctly corresponding to pressure difference between the intake pipe 30 and an exhaust pipe 31. The opening of a nozzle vane provided on a turbocharger of the engine 11 is corrected based on the difference between the detected pressures, and an ERG amount can be made close to a proper value.
