PURPOSE: To prevent abnormal temperature rise by arranging a flow guide wall on a crossing part of two branch pipes adjacent to each other across an outlet port of an exhaust manifold, for introducing exhaust gas to the outlet port side, and thereby introducing the exhaust gas without stagnation at a portion of the collection.
CONSTITUTION: In an exhaust manifold 1, at least one branch pipe 4 is connected to a collection pipe 3 for feeding exhaust gas to an outlet port 4. A flow guide wall 7 is arranged on a crossing part 6 of two branch pipes 5b, 5c adjacent to each other across the outlet port 4, for guiding the exhaust gas to the side of the outlet port 4. The exhaust gas is introduced smoothly to the outlet port 4 without stagnation at the collection pipe 3, preventing abnormal temperature rise of the exhaust manifold 1, which may be caused by partial heating of a side wall 10 at the portion of the collection pipe 3. Thermal expansion of the collection pipe 3 is suppressed, and measurement difference and plastic deformation caused thereby are decreased.
