To provide an exhaust pipe collecting device which enhances uniformity in temperature of a catalyst and by which the measurement of oxygen concentration by an O2 sensor can be performed with high accuracy.
An exhaust pipes collecting device 10 is provided with an exhaust gas introducing chamber 12 installed in the upstream of a catalyst and plural exhaust pipes 13 which are connected to the chamber 12 and are opened at several places with fixed intervals along the circumferential direction of a cylindrical body 20 of the chamber 12 on the inside wall 20a of the cylindrical body 20. Each exhaust pipe 13 is installed to direct the center axis B of each exhaust pipe 13 to deflect to one turning direction toward the center A of the cylindrical body 20, so that a fixed direction of exhaust gas turning flow F can be caused inside the chamber 12. Also, a sensing unit of an O2 sensor is arranged in the central region C of the turning flow F.
