Abstract:

To provide an exhaust processing device with an electric heater for an internal combustion engine, wherein an accident is avoided in advance by detecting breakage, contact failure, a short of electric wire, and a serious accident such as fire is prevented by detecting heat generation due to the contact failure at a connecting portion of the electric wire.

In this exhaust processing device with an electric heater for an internal combustion engine 1, one or more of exhaust processing devices F1, F2 including electric heaters Fh1, Fh2 is interposed between exhaust systems 6, 7.
