PURPOSE: To increase the productivity, by taking much overlaid part plainly and not altering conventional exhaust units, in the exhaust unit of cathode ray tubes.

CONSTITUTION: A plural number of bulbs 2 are placed on one exhaust curt 1', the bulb support materials 8 and 9 are constituted so that the height of mounting of the adjacent bulbs can be made different, and the number of exhaust pumps 4 directly corresponding to the bulbs placed on the exhaust curt 1' main body is taken as the number of bulbs to be processed. With this constitution, by optimum selection of Δl and Δh so that a part of bulbs 2 is overlaid plainly, conventional exhaust curt and furnaces are almost utilized as they are.
