Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a required time from the occurrence of a fault in an active unit till a standby unit starts its operation with respect to the standby unit changeover controller for a transmitter provided with plural active units and standby units.
SOLUTION: A setting data transmission means 2 adds a revision display signal representing whether or not setting data are revised to the setting data and sends the result periodically to a reception decision means 3. The means 3 receives the setting data and extracts a revision display signal. Only when the extracted revision display signal represents that the revision is caused in the setting data, a setting data storage update means 4 updates the storage of the setting data. When a fault develops in any of plural active units 1, a data transfer means 6 reads the setting data set in the active unit having a fault out of the setting data storage update means 4 and transfers the data to a standby unit 5.
