Abstract:
To provide an ovenproof container being inexpensive and having heat resistance, environmental adaptability, rigidity and a pearly appearance.
A container fabricated from an expanded thermoplastic resin sheet prepared by expanding a resin composition containing 95-40 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin comprising 45-95 pts.wt. polypropylene resin and 55-5 pts.wt. polystyrene resin and 5-60 pts.wt. inorganic filler to an expansion ratio of 1.05 to 3 can serve as a lunch container showing excellent performances when heated in a microwave oven.
