Abstract:
PURPOSE:To change the operating pressure of an explosion-proof device according to temperature by arranging a circular thermal deformation member in a space section formed by a sealing plate and the main body portion of a terminal plate. CONSTITUTION:At the pressure rise within the normal usage temperature range, the fulcrum when a flexible thin plate 40 is flexed upward is the inner periphery end of a circular thermal deformation member 50, the diameter of the flexed portion of the flexible thin plate 40 is restricted by the thermal deformation member 50. On the other hand, at the continuous pressure rise resulting from the temperature rise, the circular thermal deformation member 50 is deformed by heat, the fulcrum when the flexible thin plate 40 is flexed upward becomes the folded point on the boundary between the main body portion of a terminal plate 20 and a collar-shaped periphery section 22, the deflection of the flexible thin plate 40 is restricted by the terminal plate 20. As a result, the flexible thin plate 40 is flexed into contact with a cutting edge 24 at the pressure lower than the pressure rise within the normal usage temperature range, an explosion- proof device is operated at the pressure within the range that safety can be secured.
