Title:
EXPOSURE CORRECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62253132
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To determine an area where the quantity of exposure is suppressed and the quantity of that and to compress the difference between a maximum and a minimum brightness signal optically when the difference is large by comparing brightness information on a subject from a photodetecting means divided into plural areas with the effective exposure area of a film by a control means.

CONSTITUTION: Brightness information which is divided by three into a center area and its outer peripheral areas is inputted from the photodetecting element 8 to the arithmetic circuit 12 of an exposure correcting device. Further, information on the effective exposure area of the film is read automatically by a film information input circuit 14 or sets in a manual input circuit 15 and inputted to the arithmetic circuit 12. This arithmetic circuit 12 compares the brightness signals of the respective areas of the subject with the effective exposure area of the film and applies signals corresponding to the comparison results to an electrochromic EC control circuit 16. The circuit 16 determines an area of the EC element 10 where the quantity of exposure of the EC element is suppressed and the quantity of that to correct the difference between the maximum and minimum brightness signals.
