Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing structure showing a highly precise assembled condition and a high flashing performance.
SOLUTION: In an external facing structure constituted of a retaining member 4 fixed to a substrate 1 and an external facing material 7 in which a fitting part 7e of one side edge is elastically fitted to the retaining member 4, the retaining member 4 is provided with a hollow 4i in which the fitting part 7e of the external facing material 7 is fitted and a part 5c to be locked in which the locking part 7j of the external facing material 7 is fixed. The external facing material 7 is provided with a faceplate part 7a, first and second molded part 7c, 7h folded down at the right and left side edges of the faceplate part 7c. The side edge of the faceplate 7a is folded down to form the fitting part 7e fitted in the hollow 4i of the retaining member 4 in the first molded part 7c, and the side edge of the faceplate 7a is folded down to form the locking part 7j fixing to the part 5c of the retaining member 4 in the second molded part 7h.
